I select a desired temperature using the slider on my phone, but the displayed temperature does not change and my mug actually heats the coffee to the preset (57degC). I am still not able to control the temperature. I did find that if I force kill the app and then reopen the app, I get the correct temperature reading from my mug (improvement versus prior). When I reopen the app, the device shows up as already installed (I expected it to show no devices connected). I removed the device from the app, removed the device from my phone Bluetooth, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app, then paired the device with my phone Bluetooth. I tried this method but am still having issues. Still trying to figure out how to get it working. I know have just a Pixel 3 XL And this still works for me.ĮDIT : I have had a Pixel 5 for a couple of months now and this method still works.ĮDIT : I have had a Pixel 6 for a little over a year and been having an issue for a few months with these steps. Note: At the time, I had an OG Pixel and a Pixel 2 (work phone) and they both worked using this method. I spent a solid 2 months with Ember support trying to get this working until I figured out those steps. This method works flawlessly for the 2 mugs that I have.
